P.M.F. Machinefabriek Bergum B.V. and P.M.F. Machinefabriek Veendam B.V. certified their quality management system according to the international norm ISO 9001:2008. Both companies have also the CE-certificate for steel lighting columns. This certificate was issued by a notified body (LGA), which checked the products and the production facilities according the product norm EN40-5. All welders are certified according to the European norm EN 287 and/or EN 1418 and all possible weldings are described and approved according to the norms EN 15609 and EN 15614-1. All periodical audits are examined by the National Institute of Welding (NIL).

Dutch Normalisation Committee
PMF is member of the committee 353 075 of the Dutch Normalisation Institute (NNI). This national committee is build up with persons concerned with the product 'lighting columns' (for example manufacturers, energy distributors, road authorities, etc). During the periodical meetings, the committee is doing a great job with developing new norms and revising existing norms. The Dutch position will be transferred to the European Normalisation Committee (CEN) by the NNI.
