steel columns for public lighting
cilindrical-conical,
seamless drawn
With our two
advanced machineries, we are able to produce cilindrical-conical tapered
lighting columns without the familiar visible welded seam running from
top to bottom. These columns will be drawn from cylindrical tubes. For
these columns, we can guarantee the exact diameter (ø48 till ø273 mm),
length (maximum 16 meter), wall thickness (3 till 6,3 mm) and conicity
can be guaranteed. All conicities are possible. Under the chapter conical
tubes and 'special tubes', you can find additional information
about different shapes, such as parabola, cigar, ribbed or tubes with
decorative elements.
While
there are no visible welds, the columns will have a longer life time.
The non-interupted structure and the rounding on the total length of
the column will take care for a better stability of the column and luminiare.
cilindrical
stepped (variable diameters)
A classic
column, which has been used for decades, is the cilindrical stepped column.
This type of column can be delivered in different variants: post columns,
columns with fixed or mountable brackets, foldable column, lighting columns
with banners, etc. All types of columns can be supplied with wedges, ground
plate or base plate.
The cilindrical stepped columns can be produced out of one piece till
a length of 22 meters. If you need lighting columns with a length of minimal
22 meter and it is necessery to hot dip galvanise the column, then we
have to split up the column in two sections (due to the length of the
zinc bath) We are happy to inform you about the correct solutions.

lighting
column
This type of column was used as a cast iron column. The disadvantage
of cast iron is the little elongation of the material. During small
collisions, the column will break down. Our client asked us to produce
this column identical to the cast iron model, but now from rigid
steel. With our advanced machineries, we have the opportunity to
change a cilindrical tube to the special shape as specified by our
client: conical, seamless drawn, several decorative elements, etc.
The assembly hole was supplied with a hinged fixture. All current
cast iron columns will be replaced with the steel edition of this
type. Preserving: hot dip galvaninsed + painted in a RAL color |

lighting
columns placed under an angle
Complete in line with the background, the architect made the design
of these lighting columns. The columns are conical tapered (seamless
drawn) and placed under an angle. On the top of the column, different
flood lights were mounted for lighting up the required objects.
Preserving: hot dip galvanised according to EN ISO 1461 and powder
coated. |

hinged
columns
We produced for different railway emplacements belong the Betuweroute
- The Netherlands - hinged columns with a length above ground level
of 16, 20 or 25 meter. These poles hinges at the top of the base
section allowing the luminaire to be serviced at ground level without
the need for access equipment such as a cherry picker. On the top
of the column, a wheel is mounted for fixing 4, 6 or 8 luminiares.
Preserving: hot dip galvanised according to EN ISO 1461. |

This lighting column was designed by the city architect and is used
in the main street of a new part of the city. De columns are conical
tapered (seamless drawn) and bended with three different rays. Preserving:
hot dip galvanised according to EN ISO 1461 and powder coated in
RAL 9005. |
