Five years ago, PMF was the first manufacturer and supplier of passive safety steel lighting columns with a height up to 15 meters. which was classified in class 100NE3. In 2014, PMF created a new revolution with the development and certification of a passive safety lighting columns usable for all* kind of soils.
PMF developed a steel passive safety lighting column, which can be mounted in all* kind of soils. During the crash tests in the laboratory of TASS International bv (daughter company of TNO) in Helmond, the poles were mounted in “weak” peaty soil. With testing the poles in peaty soil, the conclusion is that these new generation steel poles are usable for all kind of soils.
The poles have the following specifications:
• classification 100NE3
• uni-directional impact (360°)
• mountable in all* kind of soils
• significant lower impact to environment by use of steel
• lamp height between 2 up to 15 meter
• cilindrical stepped, conical or cilindrical conical
• post top column or bracket columns
• single or double brackets up to 2 x 2.000 mm length
•usable with or without passive safety connector
* sand, peaty soil, river clay, loessic zones and and gravel
